Founded by Albert L. "Bud" Weber in 1999, Weber Mortgage exists for one primary purpose - to improve the lives of our clients by putting them in the best financial position - beginning with the largest debt they will ever owe - their mortgage.

Founder/CEO: Albert L. "Bud" Weber

With a BS in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and an MBA from Rider University in Trenton, New Jersey Bud has all the necessary background for a successful career in the business community.

Bud was a district manager for an international computer corporation for over 20 years. He left that job to begin Jenkins, Weber & Associates computer sales which he was president of for 7 years. Bud then made a move into mortgages and served as a vice-president and branch manager of Mortgage America for 8 years. In 1999 Bud left Mortgage America to establish Bud Weber Mortgages.

Bud has experience in constructing and managing commercial real-estate, in developing residential real-estate and subdivisions and has an inactive real-estate license. He has been involved in marketing and management in the Birmingham area since 1967.

On a personal note, Bud is married to Marilyn Weber and has 3 sons, 2 of whom work for Weber Mortgage. He is an avid sportsman playing hockey and golf and bowling on a regular basis.

 

Managing Partner/President: Michael Weber

Michael has a BA in Communication from the University of Alabama. He spent 5 years in Florence, Alabama working in television and radio. Michael's responsibilities at Weber Mortgage include serving as the General Manager and a loan officer.

On a personal note, Michael is married to Wendy Weber and has three children; Curtis, Jack and Katy. Michael is an avid athlete and sports fan. He loves football and golf and is a member of Riverchase Country Club.

 

Managing Partner/Vice-President: Karl Weber

Karl began working with the company in 2000. He has a BA in Communications Management from UAB. Karl serves as the on-the-street marketing man for Weber Mortgage and is responsible for working closely with real-estate agents as well as prospective homebuyers. Karl has been a licensed insurance agent for 7 years. Through Karl we are able to offer clients in-house access to all their insurance needs including their Life, Auto, Homeowners, and Business.

On a personal note, Karl has three children; Justin, Brittany and Madelaine. Karl is an avid bowler and loves outdoor activities including scuba diving and sailing.

Managing Partner/Vice-President: Erik Weber

Erik began with Weber Mortgage in early 2000 just a few months after the inception of the company. An integral part in the early growth of Weber Mortgage, Erik has continued to be of the best Mortgage Planner/Managers. His determination to understand his client's needs and offer them guidance on what product will best help them meet their needs has led to his well-established repeat and referral business base.

On a personal note, Erik is married to wife Lydia and has a son who loves to play baseball and hockey. Erik is an avid golfer and member of Hoover Country Club.
